Highly recommended. Excellent owners, friendly and welcoming each and every time. Couldnt ask for more from a gun shop. Always willing to help with any firearm question or need. Best gun shop in Houston. Definitely check them out before you go anywhere else.

David and Amy are the most helpful, knowledgeable gun shop owners in town, bar none. As a woman, I feel comfortable asking any question without getting a condescending response like at most gun shops. Prices are amazing too. Don't pay attention to the troll one star ratings.

I couldn't be more dissatisfied with a pre purchase experience! David at Lone Star promised getting me shipping and final numbers on a particular long rifle and kept stringing me along for 4 weeks !!! When finally contacting him he said he wasn't interested in my business? LOL good luck David like you're the only online gun store...?! Stay away deal with BudGun shop which is 1000% better in appreciating current and future business!

Do yourself a favor and go visit Amy and David at Lone Star Defense. They know how to treat a customer right. They will help you if you're new or an experienced gun owner. They go above and beyond and ensure you are well taken care of. I've purchased several items from them and I will no longer visit any other store. Pay them a visit, call or e-mail, they will treat you right!

Very easy to do business with this business. The owners are extremely nice and do everything in their power to make you feel welcome and appreciated. UNBELIEVEABLE Pricing!!! I highly recommend checking them out because they have a gun store like no other!

Excellent customer service. I was in the market for a hard to find gun model and the husband and wife team were the ONLY ones who offered to find it for me. Prices are fantastic, even cheaper than Academy, Gander Mountain and other big volume buyers. If you don't want to deal with condescending guns shops (I'm looking at you Carter's) or are only interested in sellinat retail pricing or higher, SHOP HERE FIRST! I am really happy with my new Walther from them!
