Founded in 1913, Jewish Family Service is a nonprofit agency serving members of Houston's Jewish community. Based in Houston, Texas, it provides a list of services, such as community outreach and consultation services, counseling for children/adolescents, career counseling and assessment and lifeline services, among others. In addition, the agency holds programs, such as Jewish chaplaincy and hospice programs, resettlement, special needs resources and senior adult solutions. Jewish Family Service is a member of the Association of Jewish Family and Children's Agencies (AJFCA).
