TCMH Medical Complex

I went to the TCMH Walk In Clinic because I woke up with my face swollen with poison ivy on a Friday morning. I had weekend plans and wanted to quickly reduce my symptoms. When my primary care's office stated he was on vacation until the 22nd they referred me to their Walk In Clinic. I have had secondary exposure to poison ivy, which I am extremely allergic to, once or twice per year since I moved to this state when I was 6. I know when I get a Pred shot plus Pred Pack my symptoms will be nearly unnoticeable by the time I wake the next morning. Ray Bruno, FPN insisted on giving me something else no matter how I insisted what I would be comfortable with.



Not only did the new drug (Kenalog injection) NOT WORK and thus ruined my weekend family plans (because we know they are not available through the weekend to take responsibility for their actions)... BUT, I awoke with an extreme headache, dizziness, nausea, and a fire burning sensation on my side (all published potential side effects). I have never had these symptoms nor this ineffectiveness from my usual Predisone treatment.



This is the only service that gets away with this nonsense treatment. If you go to the grocer or farmer's market to order 2lbs and spinach and they ask you want you want it for. You say I'm going to make a chicken casserole with it. If they were to say, "No, we don't sell spinach for that any more we now sell Kale. It's more nutritious, hardier and stays with you longer." You would say, "Uh no, I always use spinach. Please sell me the spinach. I don't have time to go somewhere else before dinner. Please sell me the spinach." They wouldn't say, "Here's your kale. That'll be 4 bucks."



Not pleased to have been put in this situation!!
