The Groom Shoppe

Absolutely love The Groome Shoppe. Dude, the dog, goes right in, and straight to the kennel that he has claimed and loves the Spa day he gets. She actually ordered some special shampoo, to help him with his skin funk he had. Super reasonably priced, and so much better than the other places. I wouldn't take either of them anywhere else!

This was the best my baby has ever looked after being groomed. New customer life right here. Thank you to the staff for taking such great care of Zoe.

Trust me when I tell you these people are not passionate about what they do, save your money and find a good groomer, dog in at 8am and promised by noon, called at 230 and they hadn't done one thing so I said don't start on him I will pick him up, I expected an apology when I got there instead the lady was rude and unprofessional , I wish I had read her reviews before I wasted my time, this lady has no idea about customer service, hint when someone is telling how bad their service was keep your mouth shut and don't argue the customer down, You deserve to be out of business !!!!!!!

I took my German Shepherd mix there, and she's very timid, but they were able to work with her and got her really clean.

They do a terrific job with my dog. The staff is courteous and professional and my dog always comes back looking and feeling great. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I took my two cats in for their first groom, one longhair and one short hair. I told them the short hair would need sedation as he does not allow bathing, but the longhair is fine with it and just meows instead of trying to bite and claw. They had me sign sedation papers for both "just in case." That should've been my warning.



I told them all the short hair needed was bathing and brushing, no clipping or shaving whatsoever. The longhair needed bathing, brushing, and a sanitary clip on his rear end only. Nine hours later I went to get my cats, both of which had been completely sedated and had yet to fully come around from it. I was told the longhair had to be sedated in order to be blow dried, yet when I picked him up he was still pretty damp to have been blow dried. He also still had small mats in his neck and rear areas. Also, in addition to the rear end they shaved his lower abdomen as part of the sanitary cut, which he didn't need and I didn't ask for. The short hair, I came to find out, had also been shaved on his rear and abdomen after my specifically saying not to clip him at all.



Then when they came out of the unnecessarily heavy sedation both cats were violent and terrified, and the short hair had to be loaded into his carrier using leather gloves and a towel as even I could not calm him down. I will NEVER subject my boys to this place again. I gave specific instructions which were ignored and was told things that I don't necessarily believe to be the whole truth. I will be happy to pay twice or three times as much money for another groomer/facility rather than return to a place that doesn't do as I ask and leads me to believe one thing while doing another.



Don't use the Groom Shoppe for cats...I cannot testify as to their service with dogs, and they may well be very good. But for cats? No way.

I was referred to The Groom Shoppe. So, on Thursday I stopped in to inquire about pricing and availability for my dog. The guy there told me that I could bring my dog in Friday or Saturday before 9 am. I thought Saturday was odd considering on the door it reads M-F 7am. I had no reason to suspect that he was lying to me. So I told him that Saturday would work best, at which time he replied "Saturday will work for me too". I arrive Saturday at 7 am only to find the place closed. I guess the jokes on my, right Groom Shoppe. I just have one additional thing to say...WORD OF MOUTH ADVERTISING.

I have a black long haired dachshund that was shedding. I took him to The Groom Shop and they did a deshedding & grooming. I am very satisfied with the service. Dog looks great & staff was courteous , helpful. Will definitely return
For future grooming& desheding. Also, they had him ready on time. Recommend for a professional grooming.

The groomer recieved my puppy at 7:30 Am and I did not get him back until 7:00 PM. I called twice to check on him and his progress around 2pm and they told me an hour or so just for my husband to stop by after work at 4:30 and find out they had not done ANYTHING to him!!!! When they finally called at 6:30 to tell me he was done. When I picked him up I was telling my husband how different he looked and cooing to my puppy and I hear the groomer shout in a rude tone "See wasnt it worth the wait!!!" I say no cause they gapped him up and razor burned him on his stomach and other areas!!!!

The Groom Shoppe was very clean and the groomer did an excellent job on my dog.
