Dear Client In February 2011, I slipped on ice in the parking lot and landed on my tailbone. I ruptured 3 discs in my lower back. It was the worst pain I had ever felt in my life! For over a month, I couldn't even get out of bed without assistance. My doctors told me I would take 6 months to heal. That was wishful thinking! Essentially, that accident put me out of business. While refunding fees I was unable to make all of my patients whole. But then, I just literally ran out of money, and I was at a loss as to what to do. Could I have handled the situation better? I'm certain I could have. I was just in so much pain and questioned if I would ever be able to live a normal life again, much less work.
