The Bug Man

I have to agree with Alan A., I also have used this company for probably over 7 years and have absolutely no complaints. They've treated our home for both ants (small) and bee's. This year we had a terrible problem with yellow jackets (my wife was stung twice in our bedroom). Leroy came out and sprayed but 2 days later my wife was stung the second time when she stepped on a dying bee. The "Bug Man" sent Leroy out again the same day I called. He actually crawled between the garage ceiling and the bedroom floor ( access in the garage as the upper bedroom was an addition) and removed the entire nest which was around 14 " by 18 ". He found a bunch of bee's that were half dead hanging around the heat/AC duct beneath our bedroom floor. that had probably returned at dusk after he sprayed the first time. Several of them probably gained access between the duct and the opening in the floor vent where my wife stepped on one. If it hadn't been for that opening the rest that had returned would have died and not bothered us but Leroy did not want my wife to get stung again so he snaked his body through the opening and crawled about six feet to get to the nest which was on the other side of a floor joist. He could could only see the two inches of the nest as it protruded below the 12 inch joist. He COULD HAVE just sprayed them from a safe distance and left as the bee's were dying. He actually crawled through this tight space and got the nest off the joist and brought it out with him. I couldn't believe the size of that hive! My hat's off to Leroy and "THE BUG MAN"... I will use them again without any hesitation. After reviewing the two negative ratings on June 4th and 10th of 2012; Looking at the sentence structure and wording, I pretty much think that the same person either dictated or wrote them both. If they had a complaint I am sure that "THE BUG MAN" would have taken care of it!

Stay away from this company! We hired The Bug Man to come and spray for bees at our home in May of 2012 and they ended up damaging the outside of the house. When we called to try to come to some sort of resolution the owner, Don, was completely unprofessional (to the point of swearing at my husband and insulting our home). What was interesting about that is that he'd never seen our home or anything of the damage; It was just his default reaction. To add to the problem the bee spray itself didn't work. So we've now had to pay for a failed service as well as for a contractor to come and repair our home. For such a simple task it has been a nightmare experience and we're now realizing that they aren't associated with the Better Business Bureau. I would advise anyone to avoid this business entirely. We're so frustrated to have wasted our time and money dealing with them.
