Flip's Auto Clinic

I went to Flip's auto care to have him check that steering noise/loss of fluid. He told me that I only needed a power steering pump and flush. The bill was about $255.00. After I left, the noise began coming back and I noticed fluid leaking. It was during the week and I had to keep adding fluid to the pump every morning before I left to work. On the following Saturday (one week later), I told him the pump was leaking. Immediately, he said, "are you sure its the pump?" How long have you been leaking fluid, etc. I told him ever since I had the pump replaced. He looked at it and called me about 2 hrs. later. He said a hose was leaking and it would cost $70.00 to replace. I asked him why they did not check for the leak and make sure it was leaking when they replaced the pump. He did not answer, but expected me to pay him $70.00 to replace the hose. For all I know, maybe the hose was the only thing I needed to get replaced in the first place. To me, that is unacceptable......... They should have checked the hoses leading to the power steering pump, etc. when I initially took it to them. Not pretend to act dumb when I brought it back.
