Save-A-Lot

I was ready to check out and went to check stand 1 which was open. As soon as I walked up, the gal walked away and I said hey, aren't you going to check me out... she mumbled something like a 'checkout' and pissed, I went to checkstand 2 and asked to talk to a manager. The manager passed by and the checkstand 2 cashier told her I wanted to talk, but told the cashier something and blew right by us. Now, that really got me pissed. I called the store about 40 minutes later and spoke to the same manager that blew by us. Yes she was on the phone, but you would think she would stop and politely tell me that she'll get back to me. Nothing of that. When I explained about the cashier blowing me off... she explained a 'checkout' happens when the cashier has too much money in her drawer and she can't check anyone out. This is a poorly designed system. What if you have all of your checkstands full and they all lock up because of having to wait for 'checkouts' to clear?
