Horrible. Never been treated this way. So embarassing.
I took my daughter there to be evaluated for depression. She saw Amber Stasiak, P.A. After meeting for just a very few minutes she accused me of being "cold" that I allowed my daughters car to be towed away without rescuing it. The story of the car, my daughter, our relationship etc is way too detailed to go into here obviously. My point, tho, is that I would have thought that before a paid professional offerered any opinion on this particular situation she would have at least given me the courtesy of learning more first!!. In all my years I have never ever been accused by ANYONE, let alone a Medical Professional who of course I am paying, that I am cold and uncaring. ESPECIALLY to my daughter with whom I am very close. And the fact that she did this in front of my daughter was horrific., I couldn't believe my own ears. I wanted to cry. My daughter stood up for me immediately which I so appreciate and she told me after this woman left the room how she felt the woman was trying to push her to say something bad about her home life which, my daughter said she told her "nothing is wrong at home" It was as though this woman wanted to hang me before even bothering to find out what the real issues are. I am bewildered. I am furious. I am embarrassed. I would never ever want anyone else to go through this
