I just had the most awful experience at the Main Street, Greenfield, MA, post office. A postal clerk was extremely rude to an elderly woman in front of me and I was the next one at the window. Not only did he shout at me, he told me to go to the side wall for the passport address I needed, and then made me go to the end of a 12 person line to finish mailing my package to the state department after I had already been in line for 20 minutes! Another customer left the line and announced she was going to the Deerfield, post office "where they are always helpful and nice." Once I waited another 20-25 minutes in line, he took my package but forgot to give me my confimation delivery stub. When I asked for it he said he was not going to wait on me! I have been going to this post office for 20 years and never had an experience like this! I am scared to go back, and certainly won't if he is at the window. His name was Dave Jarvis. Beware! Yikes!
