She has great connections for assistance w/ serious dog issues. Jill is well connected with the local animal experts, shelters and adoption programs. She supports Rude Ranch a no kill animal shelter and assists with the care of the animal in the shelter. She supports rescues of cats and dogs as well. Jill and her staff at Higgins and Friends are by far the most reliable, attentive, experienced pet sitting service in the area. It had been several years since we last used a pet sitter. We were looking for someone who would not only feed and play with our two kittens, but provide them quality time while were were away. After interviewing numerous candidates, something just stood out about Higgins and Friends. Jill and her staff have real life veterinary experience, and it is easy to see that they are passionate about what they do. Their rates are competitive, and their service is unmatched. They truly exceeded our expectations!!!

Jill is our lifeline! We would never get a vacation without her. Our animals are like nursing home patients. Thanks to her expertise as a vet tech, we can go away knowing all their meds are given appropriately and they are getting plenty of love. She is very reliable, honest and wonderful!!

Jill is the first pet sitter that my 4 cats all love! One of them is friendly to everyone, but the others are scaredy cats. They all just love her, and she wrote me memos each day I was away to tell me about how they were doing. She played with them, and kept the litterboxes immaculate and she is always reliable. I hadn't even taken a vacation for a long time because I'm very attached to my pets and will only leave them if I really trust the person who will care for them, and someone I trust my home to.

Ask anyone who knows me, and they will tell you how particular I am with my cats. I wouldn't feed them just any food, I wouldn't take them to just any vet, and I wouldn't leave them with just anybody...



Not only is Jill trustworthy, she is also very gentle and compassionate with my boys...and puts up with all my obssessive requests. And most importantly, my cats are very comfortable with her.



Jill will be my petsitter for life, so Jill, don't plan on retiring any time soon!

Our five spoiled darlings can't say enough good things about the wonderful care that Jill takes of them. When we first talked to Jill, she took the time to meet and greet our brats, took their medical as well as the personality history, looked over the house to discover their favorite hiding/sunning spots, and took the time to make us all feel confident in the care they would receive while we were gone. We all strongly recommend Jill for her care and her professionalism. You just couldn't do better!!

If my two cats could write the review themselves, they would tell you that Jill takes very good care of them. I know this because when I get home from trips, my cats are glad to see me and in a good mood. She not only feeds them but plays with them. Having had some bad experiences with previous sitters, I appreciate that I can email Jill at anytime to see how things are going and she is prompt in her replies. She is dependable and trustworthy. The cats and I recommend her highly.
