Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas

I am a loyal Elizabeth Arden client, but it was my first visit to Gaithersburg.

I spend money to go to the spa to relax. It is posted in the spa in writing - not to talk on your cell phone. The employees and management are not enforcing their own rules. I went to Gaithersburg Red Door location to relax, but the entire visit was literally ruined by them not enforcing their own rules (and standard spa etiquette) not to talk on the phone. A young person was disrupting the tranquil atmosphere by having a prolonged social conversation in a loud voice, using vulgar language. Why didn't the staff and management enforce their own rules to make the visit enjoyable for the rest of the patrons? It should not be left to the guest to point out the obvious, that there is a sign and rule that says not to use your phone. It was an extremely traumatic event and I was terrified, as the woman felt entitled to continue talking on her phone and reacted aggressively and violently.

Ok so my recent visit to the Red Door Spa left a bad taste in my mouth. Now my experience wasnt totally bad. The massage service was excellent***** the facial was so good I fell asleep. ***** The reception was very professional. The atmosphere was very relaxed and calming. Now the nail services wasnt even sub par it was awful! My nails look like they were done on the Jersey Shore :( Then my toes omg the polish was thick in some areas and not completely on the whole nail. The polish didnt dry at all. I was also over charged for the gel services. Horrible horrible!!!!!!

I went to Red Door Spa the other day, It was like heaven, I relaxed in a beautiful peaceful room while waiting for someone to take me back for my apt. The staff was very friendly, I got a bare Bikini wax. I loved it, there was no pain, the wax they use was great. My Staff woman was very nice and keep my modesty in mind, I never felt weird or embarrassed. I loved it.

One of the best spa experiences I have had. The staff is friendly and the facilities are comfortable and clean.
