I've been going be Brenda for 5 yrs now & I seriously won't go to anyone else. She's so detailed and takes her time to do the job just right. A couple yrs ago I wanted to change up my style quite a bit; with her advice she helped me modify it to fit my face and I got the perfect cut & style- she saved me! :)

I've been going to Brenda for many years because she's fabulous! She's a magician with hair coloring and I frequently receive compliments on my hair! I absolutely love her work and kindness! Her salon is beautiful and welcoming too.

I am so happy that I have found Brenda. I live in Franklin and have been driving to Hendersonville to a salon. My hair is thick and it seems that stylist just did not know what to do. Brenda did is right the first time. I love my color and the cut !! Thanks Brenda ! You're the greatest !

I have been a client of Brenda's for almost 15 years and I wouldn't trust my hair ti anyone else. She does a great job on color and styling. She listens to what I want and doesn't try to talk me into something I might not like. She keeps up on the latest styles and trends. Her shop is very nice - always clean and very professional.

Brenda has been styling my hair for about nine years now. I like to change my hairstyle frequently. And what is so great about Brenda is - I can bring in a photo of how I want my hair styled and she can style it just the way it looks in the photo! She also give me some great tips on haircare and products.

Brenda cut my ponytail to help me donate it to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. And then she gave me a fabulous layered style afterwards! I loved the volumizing hairspray she used and want to get the name of it and buy it next time I see her. Brenda is very personable and really gave my hair her complete attention.

This was my second visit to New Beginnings. I saw Brenda and she did a fabulous cut and color on me! I highly recommend her! The salon is so comfy, cozy and in downtown Franklin which is convenient and so quaint. :)

My first visit was a great experience. Definately not a "chain" feel. It felt more like being at home. The layout of the place was indeed designed to feel like home. The Stylists and Barber were so kind and friendly. You could just tell from talking to them, they love what they do and take pride in their work. I watched all three of them as they worked their magic, they are very good at what they do. They want you to feel like family...and I did! So, check 'em out...their location is in an unassuming little nestled in spot just off the square in Franklin, TN (218 4th Ave. N.). I guarantee you will like your experience there too.

I moved to Franklin from Atlanta and was not happy with any of the salons I tried. One of the women I work with always had great looking highlights and a really good cut. She recommended her stylist, Brenda at New Beginnings. I haven't been anywhere else since. My hair looks great and I now I get the compliments!

Finding Brenda has been wonderful! I have gone to another salon for years for my highlighting and have been satisfied with their work. However, their prices kept climbing and reached the point of being overpriced and unaffordable to me now. I cannot and won't pay the newer prices. So...a couple weeks ago I began calling all the Franklin salons and getting their prices on highlighting. I had decided to go with the one that offered the best price. That was Brenda. We spoke on the phone about my hair and what I needed and I made my first appointment with her. Wow...that decision proved to be a superb one. Brenda made every effort to give me what I wanted...and she most definitely delivered. She didn't seem rushed but took the time to do it right and make me satisfied. And so many friends have complimented me on my hair. Additionally, she is a sweetheart and I feel now like I not only have a new hairdresser but also a new friend. I enjoyed yakking with her while she did her magic on me and sorta hated to say "bye" that day. But I will be seeing her again...and again...and again in the future as long as she continues taking such good care of me and my hair! Thanks again Brenda.

Seriously, I really couldn't be happier! My husband and I had been going to the same hairdresser for many years. While my husband was mostly satisfied with his haircuts, I--on the other hand--was left dreading each one. Rarely did I receive a cut where I looked in the mirror and said to myself, "Wow, my hair looks fantastic!" Sigh. So, when my hairdresser moved and we were left hair salon "homeless," I went looking to the Internet for some reviews. That's when I found Brenda Brown at New Beginnings (she's also the owner). She listened to what I wanted and gave me a precision cut that is cute, stylish, and compliments my features. Now when it's time to shower and fix my hair, I know that my cut is going to do what it's supposed to do and not leave me in front of the mirror forever just trying to get it to look halfway decent before I have to be somewhere. I have an appointment next month for my first hair color, so I'll be sure to leave a rating for that as well. Another client left a very favorable review regarding their coloring experience, and after meeting Brenda and getting a great feel for her knowledge and expertise, I'm more than confident that she will exceed my expectations. So, if you are new in town or just feeling the need to try someone new, please give Brenda the opportunity....you'll be glad that you did!! :)

Worth the drive indeed! I drive from Shelbyville to go to New Beginnings and Brenda Brown. I just love the sahag hair cut done with the sahag scissors. You know Jon Sahag was the one that gave Jennifer Anniston that wonderful hair do when she was on friends. All the sahag products are great. I have been going here for years and will for many more.

I've been going to New Beginnings for nearly 7 years. Brenda Brown, the owner, does exceptional color work. My highlights look extremely natural! A Paul Mitchell color specialist once commented on my highlights, "Whoever does your color really knows what she's doing." Her prices are reasonable and her service exceptional!

After moving from Franklin to Murfreesboro, there are only two people for which I return to Franklin for their services-my doctor and my hair stylist. Brenda is always up to date on the latest trends and always does a great job. Most importantly, I feel she really appreciates my business, which is a rare feeling these days!
