They helped me fix my computer, didn't cost me a dime!

I had gotten several bad viruses on my Dell laptop, and the damage was so bad that it continuously restarted - i couldn't do anything with it. The laptop had also infected my tower PC through my Thumb Drive, and it was starting to give me the same Error Messages as the laptop.



I brought it in to the Geek Squad with the hopes that they could just wipe the hard drive and i could start from scratch. The guy at the desk was very friendly and knowledgeable, and suggested that i could do the ASystem Restore myself, (since i'm halfway decent at understanding PCs!) and save a bunch of money in the process. He gave me step by step directions as to what to do. I was shocked that they weren't there to make as much as they could off of a customer, and were truly there to help! I took the computers back home, and did as he said for both units. It took a while to install software and drivers again, but the viruses are gone and the computers run like new.



I was really surprised by this experience - usually you go into these places knowing that you are going to be milked for every dollar you have! I will recommend Geek Squad to my friends, and certainly come back if i have issues in the future.
