Spent $235 for a color, highlight and cut. Told the stylist my hair color does not stay it's color and turns yellow blonde. She reassured me they use a 2 part color and would be worth the expense because they do it right. 2 weeks later the color faded and within that week I had to recolor on my own in order to have decent color for an upcoming wedding. Total disappointment for a high price. My box color lasts longer than all of the talk.

read all these reviews trying to find a professional salon to get my haircut. I can afford to go to any top salon and decided on Dolce Lusso in Baxter. The salon was very nice and professional with state of the art equipment. I specifically asked for Richie as I heard he was the "best". He was very nice and I felt very comfortable talking with him and showing him the pic of how I wanted my hair cut. After consultation, he began to cut my hair. I started getting this sick feeling in my gut as he was chopping, slicing and dicing. Once he was done..I had a great haircut but it looked nothing like the picture I brought in..it was too short. Before we got started I said a couple of times "not too short" as he was cutting away, I realized I had made a mistake but could not stop him half finished. I just hoped for the best, fortunately the top length was still intact. As I was leaving (a little dumbfounded by what just happened to my hair) I realized..this is a great salon with many talented people, but the one thing Richie will learn as he matures is to listen to his customers and it is better to error on the long side instead of the short side. I have rec'd many compliments on my hair, but again it is not what i wanted. I had this hair cut in the early nineties and now have it again. It will grow out and I will go to someone else that will hopefully listen to the customer, that is what brings business back.

After moving to the Charlotte area, I was in desperate need of finding a new salon to call home. After asking around, and then going myself, Dolce Lusso in Baxter is definitely the place to go! The salon and spa are beautiful and everyone makes you feel at home! It’s a high end salon but so comfortable – everyone treats you like a long time best friend and you can dress to the nines or go in wearing jeans and still fit in! Everyone I encountered was so wonderful – I was offered drinks and hand massages while I waited and then Richie gave me the haircut of a lifetime! I get compliments everyday and even had to stop back by the salon just to pick up some more of his business cards! I highly recommend him, although I don’t think you could possibly go wrong with anyone in their salon – everyone who was having their hair done looked amazing! I highly recommend this salon! Oh, and their shampoo bowls are like pedicure chairs! You get a back massage while getting shampooed – Fabulous!

This past weekend I had an appointment at Dolce Lusso's that included a pedicure and hair coloring. All the employees were friendly and very helpful. Having no idea what color of nail polish was in "style" this summer, Marcy suggested the perfect color. I received so many compliments and I can't wait to return for another pedicure. Richie did my hair coloring and there again I asked for suggestions. The color he picked is PERFECT!!! I was so pleased with my first visit to Dolce Lusso that I will recommend this Solon/Spa to all my family and firends.

I've been going to Dolce Lusso in Baxter village for 3 years and have had nothing but positive experiences! The staff is friendly, professional and my stylist Richie just returned from training in London. I would recommend this salon to everyone!

I love this salon!!! I am not one to post reviews on anything but after my experience at Dolce I feel that it is needed! Everytime I am at Dolce I am always treated like a princess! The stylists are nothing but amazing and I have never had my hair look like it does! I LOVE IT!!! Dolce Lusso is the place to go!!!!

I have only had one experience with Dolce Lusso because of a gift card that was purchased for me and I will not name the stylists name but I can share that it is THE WORST experience that I have ever had. Even more dissappointing is how it was handled, after damaging my hair they made excuses instead of providing good customer service. I have never posted a negative review on anyone in my life but i just couldnt resist this time. Please save yourself the tears and try somewhere else.

From the second I walked into Dolce Lusso, I knew I was in a special place. I was immediatley greeted and offered a complimentary beverage. I was there to get my hair colored and cut. During my process time, I was walked to a private relaxation room with dim lighting and large comfy chairs. I am always so busy, so to sit and catch my breath was a way for me to escape the hussle and bussle. It was a delight to have a, "spa experience" while getting my hair done. While rinsing my hair, I sat in a massage chair and my stylist gave me a scalp AND hand massage. It was awesome! To top it all off, my hair was more beautiful than it has ever been. I have received more compliments than ever on the way it looks. It also feels fantastic because of the Aveda products used. From start to finish, this was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this salon and spa to all of my friends and family!

I recently have had many terrible experiences with hair salons. I decided to take one last chance with an aveda salon, and made an appt. with Dolce Lusso. I had an amazing experience and will not EVER go anywhere else! They did an incredible job, and were very friendly and attentive me. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a great experience!
