Cathedral Preparatory Seminary is a secondary school for young men who have wish consider priesthood as an option in discerning a vocation. For this purpose, the Bishop of Brooklyn established the school in 1914. The school s academic curriculum includes theology, English, study skills, global study, earth science, sequential math, and fine arts. It also offers United States and European history, living environment, French, Spanish, economics, chemistry, health, writing practicum, physics, environmental biology and calculus academic programs. The school also offers various extracurricular activities and sports programs, such as basketball, volleyball, football, softball, tennis, swimming, cross-country, and track. Cathedral Preparatory Seminary is located in Elmhurst, N.Y.
