His automotive career began in this location when it was the Flossmoor Standard gas station. During that time he assisted with maintenance jobs, such as oil changes, serpentine belts, wiper blades, headlamps, tire repairs. He even ran the full-service gasoline pump.

Bill is an ASE Certified Automotive Technician with more than 32 years of experience. Bill's love of cars began as a young boy watching them go in and out of his parents' car wash in Chicago. He even pitched in by helping his folks keep their customers' cars shiny. In high school, Bill worked at a few auto repair shops including Flossmoor Standard. But his dreams were even bigger... so in 1988 he purchased his first automotive repair shop in Park Forest. Ten years later he expanded to a second location, now known as Flossmoor Family Automotive Repair. Electrical work may be his specialty, but Bill is a skilled technician doing virtually any repair, whether it's domestic, import, a treasured classic or a fine-tuned track car. More than just an owner, Bill truly is a hands-on mechanic who on any given day might repair tires, diagnose short circuits, install new brakes, then wrap up the evening with a few hours on restorations. In fact in his early twenties, he and his wife, Tracy, along with their three kids rebuilt a 1937 Plymouth, 1969 Dodge Coronet, 1970 Plymouth Cuda and a 1965 Dodge Dart. All of which earned features in Mopar Magazines. Bill served as President of the Viper Club of America, Illinois Region for eight years, where he and Tracy coordinated meetings, race events, cruises, tours and car shows. Bill's hobbies include racing his Viper, restoring old cars, car shows, traveling and playing volleyball. In his free time Bill celebrates life with his Family & Friends.
