i have very very bad experience with this company i purchase a product from them and the was defected and i called for warranty and the send me a replacement and the hold $100 until received the defected one back after the received i call 4 times and the tell me the something my return refund the going to be in the next 24 hours and the 4 call i am very frustrated and i ask was going on with my refund and the tell me the was to charge me $40 for the return shipping cost this is ridiculous when the never tell me this and any previous calls i ask to talk to the manager and he tell me i was the manager i ask why dont tell me all this details when i call the the first time for all this stuff the manager the not was any professional way to take care a costumer i am very disgruntled with this company i hope i can get some money back so watch out when any make returns or exchange because is hidden charges incident happen on 11/1/2018

Don't know what has happened to "Detroit Axle" in the last few years, but the 2 axles I recently purchased were both terrible. Left and right side axles both appeared to be painted to look new (standard procedure), but still had dirt in the threaded area (axle nut area). This tells me that your quality control is horrible. Both axles did not drive well on the vehicle (shaking vehicle when accelerating from a stop with steering wheel turned right or left). Further investigation (purchased new from auto parts dealer) rendered both of the axles were not rebuilt, or possibly your company just replaced torn boots with new and shipped them/sold them as rebuilt. Your return policy is so bad, I just ate the price and will not do business with you again. Good luck with your diminishing business. This write up will be copied and pasted in Google reviews and others as well.

I have a unique car that is relativly rare and as such parts are not readily available. Dearborn Axle rebuilt my axle while I waited. The part works great and saved me hundreds of dollars

I recently purchased a rack and pinion for my Ford Escape. I purchased it off eBay. I am had my order delivered quickly and I was very pleased with my purchase. I was hesitant by the previous reviews but I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The customer representative that I spoke with was extremely pleasant. Ordered Tie rods and ends for both sides for my dodge ram 1500. cheap prices , fast shipping. only thing is could of been a better box to ship in. Other than that good :)

Folks I can only speak for myself but this is a top rate company, with quality merchandise owned by a owner who went out of his way on New Years day to go the extra mile. I am a man who is not easily impressed, just the opposite, I expect excellence from myself, my employees, and everyone else I do business. I work hard for my money as you do and I believe in going the extra mile. But this gentleman blew my away, Due to the holiday and a busy schedule I on a last minute order some parts and wanted to see if they could be overnighted, to make this short , the cost was actually almost equal to the parts. I get a call on New Years day, twice i didn't pick up the first call, and he went through with me the best options saving me money.. He stated his moto is he does not want me for a one time customer but would rather build a relationship of mutual benefit .Listen I have owned and operated and still do several business that employee a large amount of people with sales that are in eleven figures. We have been very blessed but this gentleman is how business is to be done. in a day and age where it common place for the consumer to be forgotten, taken advantage of and generally not values, it is so refreshing to see that American pride and service still is alive Hats off to Detroit Axel

Ordered a complete front end suspension kit online for less than $190. I was in Detroit so of course shipping was fast. Parts were exact fit and installed pretty easily. Still new so no clue as to the quality and warranty issues others speak of, but considering it was $360 less than both Autozone and Advance can you really complain? Say they're crap and a year from now and they don't honor warranty. I can literally buy this 2 more times and still come out cheaper than retail.....

I ended up ordering a wrong part from EBay. Took them less than 5 mins to swap it out for the right one and update my warranty info..... Customer service was A+!

These guys are seriously the best. I fixed my entire front end suspension control arm, ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings and all 4 struts for under $300.. Parts fit PERFECT and everything came with a 10 Year Warranty (I'm sure I'll never need it with how nice these parts look and work).. A big F-U to all the other auto part stores that quoted me over $1200+.. Great parts, customer service was A+++, I'll never go anywhere else

Just got all new front ball joints for my Yukon! Came in in 2 days, good quality products, much lower prices then local parts stores, I've ordered many parts thru them and will continue to! Excellent service!!
