Millers Artist Supplies Co

I was excited to give this art store a try. 10 of the 12 reviews (on a duplicate Yelp listing) were outstanding and the remaining 2 reviews, complaining about a grumpy curmudgeon, seemed a bit far fetched.

My mother and I went into the tiny store and asked about paint brushes and was led to their location which was directly below a television set tuned to a ball game. I told the man that I have a hearing condition and was wondering if he could turn the sound down. He obliged, but the difference was not noticeable. He asked, "is that good?" and I said, "I'm sorry, but not really." My mother then politely asked him if he would mind turning the sound off while we looked. The man said, "I'm not turning it off, I'm watching the game." In an obviously perturbed tone, I replied, "Ok, Goodbye."

After returning home, I called the store to complain and asked to speak to the owner and discovered that the unaccommodating man in the store is the owner.
