Canalside Jewelry

I have a water resistant watch that I wear for swimming and snorkeling. The battery died and I called Canalside to ask if they have a battery and could they replace it in my watch so that I will still be able to use the watch for swimming. I was told they would definitely be able to do this. I asked again if they would be able to replace the seal so that I could use the watch in the pool and again was told yes. I made a special trip to the jewelers and gave them my watch. They then told me that they couldn't replace the seal to make the watch water resistant,. I would have to send it back to the company. I wish they had saved me the trip and told me that initially.
