The Bothin Youth Center is a camping facility of the Girl Scouts of Northern California. It organizes swimming, nature exploration, stargazing, sports, hiking and outdoor cooking activities. The center also provides dormitory-style sleeping units. The Bothin Youth Center offers online reservation services. The Girl Scouts of Northern California works toward the developmental, educational, emotional and social needs of girls. It has more than 50,000 members and serves over 18 counties in Northern California. The organization also provides the Healthy Girls Healthy Lives program. The Girl Scouts of Northern California conducts summer camps and offers various volunteer opportunities. In addition, it organizes national council sessions.
