Overall

Blow's places like H and R block out of the water! I first went to one of the big chain tax shops, and quickly realized I knew more about taxes then they did! Next I did some searching and found Security Tax Services, and boy am i glad i found them! They are personable, friendly, and oh so smart! We definitely found our go to people! Oh, and guess what?!? They are open year round, can't get much more legit then that! Good prices, good people, great bagels across the street.

We give to charities because we are passionate about their causes. We shouldn’t stop supporting them because we may lose a tax incentive–especially if our workplace provides matching funds for charitable giving. Moreover, some people may still be able to benefit from itemizing if they are strategic with their giving by bundling or accelerating donations to push past the standard deduction. Consider the convenience of a donor-advised fund where you can receive that tax benefit now and designate grants at a later date.

I came in for a one hour consultation to prepare for filing a 1099 tax form, which I knew nothing about. Mr. Branting had asked me to bring in any related paperwork I had for my new job. He kindly, and patiently went through every item with me and explained the importance of each one. Some were related, while others were not. He advised me to make a file for each important piece of paperwork. I found it very easy to approach this office, Bob had more knowledge than any other tax agent I had worked with in the past; beyond that he and his employees were kind with assisting to all of my questions. I would highly recommend this Security Tax Services to all of my friends, and family.
