I called Kitchen Solutions after I couldn't seem to get Home Depot to even take an interest in getting me an estimate and doing the work. The owner of Kitchen Solutions came out the day after I called, created an estimate on the job by the folowing Monday, and called to confirm that the cabinets had been ordered. I had soffits removed, the kitchen walls torn out and replaced, new wiring, cabinets, countertops, and a new dishwasher and microwave range hood installations, as these two appliances were not in the 1954 version of my kitchen. The contractors appeared on the promised day and did all the demolition and reconstruction in just 7 business days. It is absolutely beautiful, the cabinets are top-notch maple, and the contractors were terrific. Don't let anybody tell you your kitchen will be torn up for 6 to 8 weeks. If it takes them that long, they aren't doing their job right. My kitchen is now a dream to use with more work space and storage, and high-quality, heavy-duty drawers and real wood cabinets, up-to-code circuits and plumbing, and a lot of beauty.
