Sunset Ridge Campground

What an awesome weekend we had at Sunset Ridge Campground, this campground is a lot nicer than the one around the corner! It was hot but was able to take a dip in the salt water pool to cool off! The facility is very nice & clean, the lots are big & the owner Mike is very helpful & accommodating! This is our new home away from home, we will be spending a lot of time here :)

Wow ,what a gem in the beautiful Pines of Georgia to find. The cleanest campground I have ever been in. The Management of this property are always there to guide you with questions of the area and fishing tips at Lake Russell which is just over the Hill from the campground location. RV sites here are the largest I have ever seen in a RV park your campers are not on top of each other. Would Highly recommend checking this facility out. It is a good feeling to go somewhere and feel confident of your surroundings and relax in peace.

Not a single shade tree on the entire campground. No wifi, and spotty cellphone reception. No picnic shelters, and though you pay for laundry machines its only a cold water wash. No real lake access, more theoretical. Cabins don't have bathrooms. On the plus side the sites are large and its isolated so its quiet except for the choo choo train.

We had a great stay at Sunset Ridge! Very nice and clean cabins and bathhouse. Easy access to Lake Russell with boat landing close by. Very peaceful and quiet... beautiful sunsets! We will be staying here again. Highly recommend!
