Radiation Therapy
Radiation therapy uses intense energy beams — like image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) — or an internally placed radiation source (like brachytherapy) to kill or slow the growth of cancer cells over time.
