Great attorney. Did what my criminal and immigration attorneys could not do. He got me out of detention, reduced my criminal charge, and got me a waiver. All the other attorneys said it could not be done, and he did it.

Best attorney out there. Because of him I am United States citizen. I had talked to other attorneys in the city i lived in and they told me if filed for citizenship, I would be deported because of an incident in the past. I talked other attorneys in El Paso and he is the only one that actually requested my file to look into it. After he investigated he gave me my options. He said removal was a remote possibility but more than likely I would get my citizenship based on his review. We went to the interview and he disclosed my prior incident at the time of the application and interview and he talked to examiner and supervisor and there were no issues. He is good. I was in custody facing deportation and had been deported in the past. While in criminal custody my parents talked to him because my great grandmother was a United States citizen. Other attorneys had told my parents that I was going to be deported again. My parents hired him and he explained the complications of the case and what we needed to prove. Before he submitted all the paperwork, immigration official had talked to me and told me that upon my release I would be deported and they showed me deportation paperwork. Mr. Mondragon filed the paperwork. He and my dad went to the interview and with the evidence and argument Mr. Mondragon presented we had to await the decision. The decision was pending a long time but upon completion of my sentence, immigration released me telling me that I was a United States citizen. I am only awaiting the certificate. Everyone said my case was complicated and almost impossible, but Mr. Mondragon did the hard work and got it done.

Honest !!! Not your typical attorney, he doesn't talk much rather work more and he proved his words through actions. After seeing several unethical law firms who would just talk about fees and saying my deportation process was a difficult situation. I found out mr Mondragon was the best attorney for challenging cases like mine. He first did his research then gave me an answer, he said I had just one last opportunity but he had faith in putting a case together to represent me. Great attorney. I was granted legal status through spouse whom I separated and immigration reopened and denied my status. I went to like 5 attorneys and all of them said since I separated, I was out of luck. Mr. Mondragon actually reviewed my case and said immigration has the authority to do that, but not in my case because they did not follow the proper procedure. He submitted his argument and immigration gave us an appointment and officer said Mr. Mondragon was right. I got my status back that was wrongfully taken away and now I am a permanent resident working on my citizenship. Best attorney period.

This attorney helped me when other attorneys could not. I was granted my lawful status then immigration cancelled because they said it was fraud. Mr. Mondragon reopened the case and challenged the basis of cancellation and process. They granted my status after other attorneys said the time had ran and there was nothing I could do. He is good.

This attorney got me out of the camp. While out, I get arrested and back to immigration. He resolves my criminal case and gets me out of immigration with lawful status. Other people in cell said it was impossible and he did it. The Judge told me after our immigration hearing that i probably hired the best immigration attorney if not one of the top two. This attorney helped me out of a big problem. I was charged with felony tampering government records. At the time I was married to a US citizen. Mr. Mondragon got me out of criminal detention. He drafted his proposed plan of action and prevented immigration from taking me to detention. He reduced the offense to a misdemeanor and told me it should not affect me. We went to the interview and he submitted the paperwork. A couple of days later, I received a notice that I needed a waiver for the misdemeanor conviction because it was a misrepresentation. Mr. Mondragon told me they were wrong and that if we did the waiver we were accepting they were right and that my waiver would probably be denied because there was no hardship to my wife. i.e. no minor kids, no medical issues, recently married. He filed response to there request for the waiver and filed his argument. Four weeks later I get my legal status and no waiver needed. He resolved my criminal case and immigration case and everything worked out great. I think if I would of stayed with my criminal attorney he would jeopardized my immigration because he wanted me to plead to something quick to get me out of custody.
