Doo Dads

If I could rate it a " 0 " star, I would. Horrible, rude, people. They carry AVON, too ... find a LOCAL REP. Rick opened an UNSEALED Avon body bar box, at which time the young girl swiftly and adamantly came shooting down the isle sparring and scolding him saying, " you know, we CAN"T sell those if you take them out of the box and smell them then rub them on your skin ... we can't sell them as new", at which point my sweet husband, looking boyishly horrified, apologized, then got his wits back and said, "fine then, I'll buy it". I was so miffed ... I went outside briefly, then came back in and stood in front of the display, just in time to myself be confronted by the girl and her mother, who were then "sparring". The mother lightly said to me, "we're just sparring, can I help you?" I said, "yes, I know, she just finished "sparring" with my husband over this unsealed soap...and no, you may NOT help me, but I am now going to help you...First, the box wasn't sealed...most of these boxes aren't. I suggest you locate some sort of tape in this "doo dad shop" to affix on each of these boxes...secondly, I see a Sharpie there on the shelf, get a piece of paper and make a note to place on the shelf that reads, 'you open the box, you just bought the box'. The two just stood there. I went BACK outside to the jeep, got my purse, then went into the Flea Market next door (WHAT NOTS) to buy tape and cardboard...he indicated he had nothing to do with them, apologized FOR them, then let me buy a used roll of masking tape (he wanted to give it to me, I said no, he then wanted a quarter, I gave him a dollar...I felt bad, someone related to Popeye had stolen a cast iron patio set the night before)...at any rate, I took my newly purchased used roll of masking tape Back into "DOO DADS" and plopped it on the counter saying, "there you go, I bought this from the gentleman next door". If I would have ONLY thought of it prior to leaving, I would have also handed them a toilet paper square and their Sharpie and said, "can you write? I'm pretty sure I can read". (referencing the sign suggestion from above). ...so, Doo Dads, if my husband develops a skin reaction or some sort of funky skin disease from the soap we were forced to buy that has apparently been opened, rubbed on, smelled by, MANY, we will know where to tell our lawyer to 'reach out to'.
