Urban Retreat Salon

I had to make an appointment with this salon some time in advance to get an appointment. Unfortunately, my husband is deployed and my childcare fell through. My options were to cancel at the last minute or to take my 2 boys with me. I chose to take the boys. I actually thought they were rather well behaved; however, when I left (after spending a significant amount of money) a woman (who I later learned was the owner, Eren) followed me out and began to chastise me about my boys' behavior. She made me feel as if my children are horrible, which they are not, and she expressed that she did not want them to return. I did not observe the behavior she described and no one pointed it out to me, or my children, while it was occurring. I was embarrassed and stunned by this woman and her negative remarks about my children. She said she was aware my husband was deployed, but clearly did not take that into consideration. This is my second bad experience with this salon in less than 6 months. Although I love Katie, the girl who does my hair, I refuse to support a snobby, anti-military and anti-mommy establishment. I will spend my money elsewhere and I will share, with anyone who will listen, my horrible experiences with this salon.
