Opened in 2002, Chippewa Valley Montessori is a nonprofit, public school that serves students between the ages of 4 and 12. The school is authorized by the Eau Claire Area School District Board of Education. Its curriculum includes math, science, social studies, language arts and physical education. Chippewa Valley Montessori also conducts classes in special education. It has a parent organization that plans fundraising events and helps with school activities. In addition, Chippewa Valley Montessori publishes a monthly newsletter that features information on school s events and happenings. The school s facilities include a gym, cafeteria, library and movement room. Chippewa Valley Montessori is located in Eau Claire, Wis.
