With all my experiences at Lee Medical Group, I have always been more than satisfied. From the receptionist ( Jennifer) to my personal Doctor( Dr. Boses) And everyone else in between it has always been a pleasent,helpful experience. Until today....I have been in financial crisis since my recent divorce and serious illness, simotaneously. I was prescribed medication for serious depression, after already starting it, I lost my insurance( due to divorce) and was left unable to pay for my much needed prescription. For a time, the Dr. office would supply me with "samples" , when they ran out I was left wondering how I was going to afford my much needed medication, A symptom of Effexor withdrawl is SUICIDE. I am desperately trying to save my own life. Although this office has been extremely helpful in my quest to properly maintain my dosage, Today I was INSULTED by Terry by bieng embarrassed in a room with other patients hearing my problem, to bieng told to "budget my money better"( At 25$ a day -for meds) AND well- we gave you a 15$ coupon-( good only after I spend 1,122.00 worth of meds!!!! Like thats gonna help!!! Just felt the need to express how important it is to give a patient repect & privacy-its a serious situation...Thank God I am as srong as I am.....Or this may have been the "straw that broke the camels back" Lets not forget depression is a illness just like cancer. Would she have treated a cancer patient like this? I certainly hope not!
