Quality Resale Home Furnishings

This is a good place to shop for used furniture. They have just about anything you could ask for and the prices are reasonable. They're more on the high-end side, so if you're looking for old furniture in great shape or even crate and barrel or Stickley, they have a quite a selection. I even consigned with them when I moved my parents into Windsor gardens. The owner, Dan, is very helpful and getting any furniture into their store or moved into the new apartment was a breeze. Very thankful because my parents can't do much. Definitely a quality moving service with young men who are careful moving things

I recently left my mother's furniture with Quality Resale Fine Furniture. We had a three month agreement. At the end of that period we were to donate to Healing Minds. Quality Resale did a wonderful job of displaying my mother's furniture. However, it has been six weeks and I have not received my part of the money of things sold. I have attempted to call them at various times of the day. There has been a recording or someone answering the phone. No up to date information can be given because Leslie has the book with her. Leslie is rarely there. I have left phone messages and even written an e mail. We are now in the process of closing my mother's estate and are waiting on the store's check before we make the final distribution of money three ways. While the owners are nice, the store is not a place I would never do business with them.

Unreturned phone calls- check

Didn't notify us when goods were sold- check

Check/money wasn't sent for goods that were sold- check (claimed they were going to send it-even though things were sold 4+ months earlier.) We had to go to the store to get it. Also, wasn't allowed to see receipts for what goods were sold for.

I found out after my three months were over, they had listed my vanity, stool and dresser for more than three times the amount that was stated on my reciept. Of course I did not see a cent.... When I ask for proof of the people that had purchased my items, I was told "we don't keep those records". Very dishonest people to deal with. I am turning them over to the Co Dept. of Fraud. I hope other unsatisfied customers do the same....
