It is one of the largest privately owned tobacco, candy and convenience distributors in the United States. The company warehouses and distributes a vast number of products typically found at convenience stores, such as candy, tobacco, snacks, health and beauty aids; automotive and cleaning supplies; and general merchandise. Eby-Brown services convenience stores, grocery stores and other convenience-based retail companies within a 28-state area. Since the company s founding in 1887, Eby-Brown has been led by members of the Wake family. Eby-Brown Company maintains its headquarters in Naperville, Ill., and has an additional location in Baltimore.
