Canton Chinese Restaurants

To me, the success of any chinese restaurant is how good is their fried rice. At this restaurant, the rice is actually not fried at all, but steamed. They sell it as fried rice, but their so called fried rice has the most boring taste that you could ever try lacking that distinctive smokey fried flavor of good and well made fried rice. Even though the shrimp are large, they are proof that the rice is steamed and not fried at all.



I will never have fried rice from there again as I made the mistake twice after giving them a second chance.

They cook so good in this restaurant. The smell of the honey-garlic chicken will drive you nuts. The canton steak is really good too. I drive almost every week from Hialeah to Coral Gables just to eat at this restaurant.

I've tried the Honey chicken at Canton Restaurant when I visited Miami and I loved It. I would like to have the recipe as I live in Uruguay, South America and I don't visit Miami very often. I would like to make the dish myself at home.
