Lil' Rascals Academy

The school looks wonderful and they have some friendly staff members but they have only one big three year olds class with a teacher who should NOT be with little kids. She is inept, does not care for the kids, shows no signs of kindness or compassion and has awful people skills.
My son started out loving school and three weeks in was crying every day saying he didn't like his teacher. She was awkward when spoken to and doesn't seem to have any drive to teach. The director must see this but doesn't seem to care enough to fix it. I had to remove my child from that God-awful environment.

My daughter has been at this location since she was 20 months old, they advanced her class placement based on her academic, social and emotional development very appropriately and now she is graduating from their VPK program reading at a first grade level. I have NEVER has a problem with cleanliness, rashes or significant injury. They promptly notify me of any minor scratch/bruise received. I find their disciplinary method very appropriate, with lots of positive reinforcement (treasure box at end of week, etc) and time-outs are age appropriate in timing and the child is never alone. The rare, few complaints I have made were quickly remedied to my satisfaction. My daughter LOVES to go each morning and even is disappointed at times when I come to pick her up in the afternoon (even when she was younger). I have 2 other children who went to other programs before I discovered Lil Rascals and there is no comparison! I am currently pregnant and will be enrolling my infant in this location at 2 months old instead of getting a nanny like I did with the last one!

This is the CLEANEST Preschool I've ever seen! My kids attend Lil' Rascals Academy and I really appreciate that the owner always makes sure that the facility is always well tended to. My girls never want to leave at the end of the day, especially my two year old, I can't get her to let go of Ms. Jen. It makes me feel good as a parent; I know that when I can't be with them, they're loved like they are at home. Thank you!

As a mother of two children looking for a preschool where I can feel comfortable leaving my son and daughter felt impossible to find. I have been there for three months now and absolutely love this school.

I have had all three of my children at Lil' Rascals cooper city. This school always fulfills my families expectations. The new director Ms. Amanda is always so sweet and very attentive to all our needs. She will always go over and beyond to help us. I have recommeded this school to my best friend and she was so pleased with the tour Ms. Amanda gave her and is bringing her 2 kids there too. This is such a great place for my kids to grow!

I have two children in the Cooper City location and they will be there until they grow up! The managers and staff are very nurturing and really care about my children's needs. The facility is very clean and well taken care of and the tuition is very reasonable! Thank you, Lil' Rascals!

My son went here from age 1 to VPK and now goes to the aftercare program. Mr Patrick is the BEST!! He really does love these kids and the kids have so much fun. I also know when my son in in his care he will always be safe



My daughter also has been there since she was 3. She is now In the 4 year old class and I love all her teachers. She loves going to school and has a fun time with all the activities they do..



The office staff always makes me feel like part of the school and answers any question I may have. Amanda , Amber, Eric and Vanessa are ALWAYS willing to stop what they are doing to help me out. Vanessa (the office manager) actually even stopped what she was doing one day to answer my question about how many boys and how many girls were in my daughters class. (valentines day)



I feel like everyone at Lil rascals cooper city are always willing to make each day the best experience for my kids and I...

our son has attended this great learning facility for over a year and we love the way he is cared for and educated. The playground is great and the staff there isis very sweet.thumbs up for lil rascals..this has to be the cleanest svool around

This school is definitely poorly managed. I have spoken with almost the entire staff about my concerns of my son and pretty much have just been apologized to but nothing done about the situations. My 3 year old had came home a couple times with cuts and a burn on his cheek which I have asked what happened to him and they had no idea. I then was very worried and pleaded to make sure they have an eye on him because he could choke on a toy or something more serious and if they are not watching he could die. They assured me they were watching which then I had to request a report of what he did during the day so I could make sure he was being watched. After me speaking with the staff about my concerns my son came home the very next day full of dry blood in his nose and all over his clothes, his shoes were untied and it was very scary to see my child turned in to me in this manner. I wanted to report this with the police because of the neglect towards my child. Which I now regret for not doing so. If authorities were to see a child in this way they would definitely reported it to dcf which I should have done. This daycare needs to be shut down.
