Founded in June of 1999, New Century Snacks is the primary roasting and mixing facility for some of the largest snack food packagers in the Los Angeles area. Located in Commerce, Calif., it produces triple-sealed plastic trays and cups, hand-packed items, bulk and specialty packages, to name a few. The company processes and packages a variety of snacks, including nuts, seeds, mixes, candy, dried fruits, and others. New Century Snacks has a two-building facility totaling more than 69,000 square feet, equipped with high volume roasting, processing, and packaging machinery, as well as 12 truck loading docks. Its clientele include Albertsons, Bear Creek, Roche Brothers, Bristol Farms, Consolidated Foods, Ralphs, Snak Club, Bargain Wholesale, Dollar Tree, Safeway Stores, Walgreens, etc. the company is also an approved vendor for the production of Sysco Foods, Cost Plus World Market, Sugar Foods and Wal-Mart private-label products.
