I have had to sue him and that did no good. He is a liar and a crook. Do not use him!

I hired rusty james to assist me in building a restaurant. He gave me a bid and answered all questions to where it seemed to be a good hire. He told me he would have the job done in three weeks. It's 4 months later and job isn't finished. I have him initial payment and he did very little work before saying he needed more for materials. In the end he failed multiple inspections from not being educated on codes and now I am responsible paying out of pocket to fix these mistakes. Also did not pull all the proper permits which resulted in the job getting shut down for a couple days. Two weeks ago I was told they had about a half day of work left. And I am still in there today trying to get the finished product up to the standard he promised me, but did not succeed at doing.

I am quite disappointed in this company. The owner came out for an estimate to fix a leaky roof and he was most professional and courteous. I felt incredibly confident in hiring his company for some roof repairs. He had workers come out and they were not such that instilled confidence with their work ethic or perfomance. When they completed the work agreed to, I payed them the agreed amount. They said if there were any problems to call and they would come back out.



I had a gut feeling the work was not done properly so I called the owner Rusty James the same day and asked if he would come out and inspect the job they had done. He agreed to come out the very next day. I waited all day but he did not show up. I have called more recently and have told him that indeed the work was not done properly and our roof continues to leak. He again assured me that someone would be out the very next morning. No one showed up again. Quite frustrated at the poor follow-up I called him and told Mr. James that I would like him personally to come out and fix the problem. I have not heard from him since. I would love to resolve this with no hard feelings since I felt he was a decent man. Perhaps my bad. Will continue to call a few days more and hope that he proves me right. I cannot afford to hire anyone else after paying him for a crappy job. If I get no response within a week I will file a complaint with the BBB.
