Herman Electric

I contacted Herman Electric (Chuck) and requested an inspection on two properties. He completed the inspection on one property at which time I paid him in advance for the second property, but he failed to complete the work on the remaining property. We agreed on a Saturday date; it was my understanding that he would call by 9:00, but he called at 8:00 a.m. I checked my voice message and called him back to inform that I was catching a bus to rent a car, but had missed the bus. Chuck OFFERED to take me to the car rental, I advised him of my location. Instead of coming to the advised location, he went to my house. I called to see if he was still coming to the location only to learn, he had gone to my house, but he OFFERED to still come to the agreed location. He arrived shortly and asked did I want to go to the car rental or home for the inspection. I choose the car rental, where he dropped me off and agreed to meet me back at my home. Shortly after he dropped me at the car rental I called to inform him that the agents at the rental stepped out of the office and rather than hold him up, I asked him if we could just rescheduled. He agreed to the upcoming Tuesday, but when Tuesday arrived he did not show, did not call and did not return my call. I call his office again on Wednesday and advised his wife of the Tuesday appointment and since he had not called or kept the appointment, I expected the return of my $39.00 fee. I followed up on Thursday and advised him if I did not hear from him, I would file a report with the BBB. No contact to date. Chuck fails to communicate and lacks ethics. I would not recommend.
