General Info
We have had the pleasure to service the tri-states electrical needs in your homes, where you shop, where you go to school, where you work, where you play and where your guests stay when they come to town! Bertke Electric Co. has been providing first class electrical services to the Greater Cincinnati area since 1928. We have had the pleasure of building some of Cincinnati’s finest buildings including: Hyatt Regency, Adams Landing, U.C. Geology and Physics, Riverbend Music Center, Kroger’s Headquarters Building as well as many grocery stores, retail stores and small office build outs. To better serve all our customers needs, we started a low voltage division of the company and provides a total solution for: Security Systems, Fire Detection Systems, Alarm Monitoring, Closed Circuit Television, Access Systems, Telephone Systems, Telephone Cabling and Computer Cabling. Since 1991, we have been improving electrical efficiencies of our customers; first through lighting retrofits and this year through our distributorship with Energy Automation Systems, Inc. (a 29 year veteran in the energy savings business). EASI has saved their customers millions annually. Bertke Electric Co. is proud to be able to bring these savings (typically 10% to 20% of your electric bill) to you using proven, reliable, techniques and technologies. This system does not require turning off of your equipment or peak shaving, in fact it does not effect your normal operations at all. The longer your facilities are open, the quicker your payback. It does not require any training for your personnel at all because they will never have to touch it once we install it. The projected savings is guaranteed through a third party insurance agent (Lloyds of London) to minimize your risk. Our company believes training is very important and all of our electricians go through a four-year State of Ohio approved apprenticeship program to acquire their journeyman certificate and many go on to get a Master Electricians certificate. Safety of our employees is of the utmost importance to the company and all our employees have gone through a 10-hour OSHA training program and all our supervisors and foremen have been through the 30-hour program. We have invested in over a half million dollars for tools, specialty equipment and vehicles so that we may perform for you in an efficient and time saving manor.Bertke Electric Co. looks forward to being your electrical contractor on all your projects and providing electrical service for all of your facilities.

It is rare that an Infrared survey doesn't find "hot spots" in an electrical system.Ultrasonic Testing:While infrared thermography will detect heat generated by arcing and in most instances tracking, it will not sense corona. An integrated approach incorporating infrared and ultrasound is recommended for the detection of the potential of arc flash. You will be able to hear any arcing long before it starts to cause heat build up, thus allowing you to fix potential problems at their early stages and before damage occurs.Tech on Site Program: We will send you a qualified electrician to use for a week or more however you need to use them for your electrical needs.Industrial Electrician SpecialistSecurity Systems for home and business with low monitoring costs.Camera Systems for both your home and BusinessAccess Control SystemsParking Lot Lighting Maintenance ProgramsTelephone, Computer and Fiber WiringHigh Reach Trucks, Fault locaters, Trenching, MeggersArc Flash Training and NFP70Arc Flash Studies 1. I contracted with this business and accepted the quoted amount based on the fact they quoted me the job would take 1 1/2 days for two workers. I used the us average of $50-$100 per hour. I used $90/hour in this case, so the quoted price was reasonable. I received a call after about 6 hours they they would complete the job shortly. This was 12 hours versus 24 hours. I disputed the quote since it took half the quoted time. They over estimated the time, and overcharged me. Get an hourly rate and the estimated hours to complete the job before using this company.

They were fast, friendly and very respectful of our home. He used shoe protectors and was careful of the items in my kid's closet since the attic access is in the top of it. I would recommend them to anyone.
