        Fred Grenfell assisted us with our kitchen remodel and it transformed our whole house. His expertise and sense of style gave us a kitchen with great flow for working and entertaining. Fred's product knowledge and good taste assisted us in selecting custom cabinets that are both elegant and functional.         We have just completed a whole house renovation which included a new kitchen and master bedroom suite on our first floor. We worked with an architect for a year to plan the project and feel very fortunate to have found Jerry Weed and Kitchen and Bath Studios. It is not unusual for a successful contractor/service provider to have strong ideas about how to undertake a role in a project like ours. The question is whether they can apply those ideas in such a way that truly serves the needs of the client. Jerry Weed is amazing in the depth of knowledge that he brings to the process of collaborating with owners and their architects. His experience and relationship with very high quality cabinet makers makes him an incomparable resource for homeowners. His knowledge of best practices in kitchen and bath design makes him an essential choice for any kitchen or bath renovation or construction project. Highly recommend!

        High-end, HIGH PRICE. Months ...

        High-end, HIGH PRICE. Months after hiring her, Jennifer Gilmer went 50% over our budget that established the first day we met. She consistently suggested the highest priced items and then marked up the retail prices. She suggested large glass tile for the bathroom, that three contractors refused to install, due to the inherent nature of large format glass tiles cracking, and ghosting. Her designs are good, but her response time and execution are not. She's all about image, but what good is the image if it will crack and fail? Not impressed. She uses a PR agent to get into local magazines. You can find better, more thoughtful designers for half the price. If you have more money than sense, she's your gal.
