Rude management, argumentative. Food so so.

Do NOT have your event at this venue. The food may be good but the owners are completely inflexible. It's either their way or no way. We recently had a party there and they made us shut everything down at 11pm while most places allow you to continue until 12am. We had even asked to stay until 12am and they said no. They are very un-cooperative. Also, when the date for the event came closer, they started raising the prices on everything, as in bartender, waitresses, and security. Services of their waitresses were mediocre and we had to compensate them through Sunlight’s pricing. We did not agree to the pricing at the time of verbal agreement but one week before the event, they told us we had to pay according to the “new” pricing. Basically, we paid for untrained waitresses. Piece of advice: have a written agreement. You can not bring your own bartender, but you may bring your own alcohol. If you bring your own alcohol, be sure to keep a close watch on it because they tend to steal the liquor that you bring. Also, be sure to invite the owners' sons because they will show up uninvited anyway. They charge per plate for the food and be specific about the jobs for the bartender and servers because they are not well trained. We told them to have dinner ready by 8:30pm and it was not ready. They told us that we had to tell them (the owners) about when to have dinner ready, but it was specified before the event even started. We had even brought a full sheet cake to be cut for everyone and the servers didn’t even know what we were talking about. Also, the cake slices were cut way to big. The servers are NOT trained as they don't know appropriate judgment; they also can't read the crowd in order to provide proper service. I’ve seen better service at McDonald’s. Also, the center pieces were specified to be lit at 6:30 and all of the center pieces were NOT lit at that time. I honestly should have done my event elsewhere. These people will NOT work with you. They also discriminate. They might work with you if you are Punjabi of Indian origin only, but because we are Fijian-Hindu, I felt they were not obligated to provide proper service. DO NOT HAVE YOUR EVENT HERE!
