        The first time we went, we wal...

        The first time we went, we walked in because my wife had hurt her leg. The staff was friendly and helpful.



        The second time my wife went on her own for another health issue, the Nurse Practicioner was rude and accused my wife of lying to obtain pain medication based on her previous visit. My wife has a histroy of severe, debilitating migraines that in the past have caused her to vomit and black out. She has a condition which prevents her from having certain types of medications, so she was prescribed vicodin. Her reason for visiting the urgent care center wasn't even related to a pain management issue, but rather another sort of health issue that requires antibiotics.



        I don't know what they teach in the universities these days, but as far as I am aware, needing antibiotics doesn't make you a liar and a drug addict because you've been prescribed vicodin in the past, and it is not the place of a Nurse Practicioner to determine that.



        It is very apparent that even with the limitations of insurance, we will not be going back to the Graybill Urgent Care Center in Carlsbad anytime soon, and will be urging others to stay away from it as well.
