I had the worst day yesterday! I called yellow cab company to come pick me up at 7:45 pm! 15 minutes before i had to actually leave, because I THOUGHT it gave them enough buffer time to make it. NO, THEY DID NOT SHOW UP! I was so upset! So I ended up calling Eastern Car service, and they came 5 minutes BEFORE they said. I was already late, but it was a relief that at least they were timely and got me to my event quickly. From now on, I am going with Eastern.
This is the only place I ever call, because they are the only ones who ever show up on time! Every other cab place takes FOREVER, but at least Eastern comes when they say they will.
This place is the best bang for your buck. We use them all the time for when family comes into town. And our family love it and thinks we spend a bunch of money, but we don't. :)
I love eastern. I'd sent friends with them to the airport in the middle of the night many times, based on the fact that they always showed up on time and were the cheapest estimate. Then I recently took a trip to jfk myself. I called dispatch for a price quote (35 from crown heights to jfk, I was quoted 38 by everyone else) and then made my reservation online. I asked to be picked up at 345 am and to be called when the driver was 5 minutes away. I received an email with my drivers name and phone number, and a phone call at 3:40 on the dot. When I came down five minutes later, a friendly gentleman with a new, clean, hybrid car was waiting for me.
Just a great experience from a service that has always been reliable for me.
I was very surprised to read the negative reviews about Eastern Car Service. They have been my favorite local car service growing up here in the slope. My family and I have used them at least twice a week and have rarely gotten any rude comments from their drivers or dispatchers on the phone. In fact, from what I have noticed, Eastern has shown that they are making an effort to improve just about every aspect of their business. Their website is a wonderful and convenient method to request the cars. They provide their customers with ways to save on their rides. Their vehicles have very much improved over the years, they even have hybrids now.
I think eastern is by far the best car service in the neighborhood and feel as if their competitors are the ones filling these review pages up with such harsh negative feedback. Come on guys, if you used eastern share your stories!
