Dale and Jeannine Elisha own Primary Prep for six years. Primary Prep of Bradenton, Inc was originally the Academy of Brighter Children and Camp Cowabunga. When Dale and Jeannine purchased the school from Jeannine's parents, they moved the location and changed the name; however, the quality program and impressive kindergarten readiness is still the same today.Dale ( Mr. Dale ) grew up in Bradenton and graduated from Manatee High School. He has a degree in religion from Florida State University. His Christian faith and solid morals make him a wonderful owner. He is loved by the children, parents, and teachers. Prior to owning Primary Prep, he was an assistant store manager of a large department store. This experience brings the business and management skills needed to operate a preschool. Dale's dedication to Primary Prep lead him to earning his CDA and Director's credential.Jeannine ( Mrs. Jeani ) also grew up in Bradenton. She too graduated from Manatee High School. Jeannine spent her youth and much of her adult life working at The Academy of Brighter Children and Camp Cowabunga. Jeannine is very theatrical and loves literature, so she earned her degree in English Education from Florida State University. In addition to supporting the school's director and teachers, and playing with the children in the afternoon, she teaches sixth grade English at Saint Stephen's Episcopal School. Jeannine feels blessed to be able to continue her family's legacy. Now, our school is home to second generation students. Children who graduated from The Academy of Brighter Children are now bringing their children to Primary Prep. That is a true legacy.We are very proud of our outstanding team of teachers at Primary Prep. Their dedication and commitment to teaching young children soars above and beyond what is expected of an early education teacher. Each member of our staff is trained in infant and child first aid and CPR. They have received formal training in in early childhood education. To continue to improve their skills and increase their knowledge, they meet their yearly in service hours. All of the teachers and the director have taken the required classes and mandated training to meet state guidelines. Each teacher has been fully instructed on how to teach their students using Primary Prep's outstanding curriculum. Our director and pre-kindergarten teachers have the necessary college degrees in order to effectively prepare your child for elementary school.
