Giordano's

I'm a trucker passing through. Normally I order from Rosati's pizza but they had stopped delivering. Then I saw Giordano's was still delivering. I had Giordano's near Chicago several times and love their pizza. I ordered pizza and the gentleman on the phone didn't tell me price. I called back and was told the pizza was $37. Ouch. Steep price for 1 3 topping pizza. But I rarely can get a Chicago Deep Dish so I was ok with it. They used to being platea napkins and a plastic knife. This time it was like I got a delivery from Domino's. Just the box. Get back in my truck grab some paper towels since didnt get any plates. And got ready to enjoy my pizza. Here is where my problem is. The blade never even touched the sauce. They marked the side just at the top where it should be cut.

If I'm paying $40 for 1 pizza they should at the least CUT THE PIZZA. I had to sit there in my truck and cut 2 slices with a spoon in order to eat it. Lesson learned. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANOTHER GIORDANO'S PIZZA AGAIN!!!!

I’ve been to Giradanos pizza before since my hometown is by Chicago. I have been to this one before with my family and this went fine. Yesterday I went with my friends and they were busy but everyone forgot how to do their job. Our waitress put our order in 15 minuets after she took it from our table, we had to wait an hour and a half to 2 hours for pizza that should take 45 minuets to an hour. When they brought it, our pizza was cold and my friends pizza was black. Plus it made her sick when she got home and my stomach hasn’t felt good either. There also was a table of at least 8 people that walked in a half an hour after us and managed to get 2 large deep dish pizzas before we got our 1 small and one small thin crust. The manager was nice enough to take money off our check and we got a free cannoli but that doesn’t excuse the fact that during a busy time you forget how to do your job.
