All Star Hyundai of Baton Rouge

All Star Hyundai has given the worst service I have experienced at any dealership I have visited. I have never had warranty service completed the same day on my Genesis. They seem to stock no parts. The service personnel are rude and their vehicle knowlede is very limited. Went to their parts department today to purchase a cabin air filter. Waited fifteen minutes for someone to arrive at their parts counter. Computer showed four filters in stock but parts man could not find any. This is typical for this dealership. I will not purchase any vehicle from any ALL Star dealerships in the future.

Just purchased a 2011 Sonata Hybrid from Morris at All Star. He found the car I wanted, had it sent here, called to report progress, and kept me informed as to when it would be ready. Very professional, low key salesman. Will return to All Star.

Charged me $165.00 to assess whether my problem is covered by the warranty and then, gave an estimate of almost $800.00 to do a tuneup which is, of course, not covered by the warranty. They are apparently understaffed as personnel seem overwhelmed by their work load and are constantly being interrupted by others and the by the telephone while you are trying to communicate with them. I would never buy another car from them. When I bought my Hyundai, it was from another dealership that went out of business. Thank goodness I have only needed dealership-involved service twice since the prior dealership closed. I would never buy from AllStar hyundai because of the service department.
