I adore Pl8. It's a wonderful ...

I adore Pl8. It's a wonderful combination of Chinese and Japanese with a modern, upscale flair. The kung pao chicken is spicy and not overly sticky like so many chains. The extra herbs and decorative touches on the dishes only add to the enjoyment. The sushi is fresh and creatively prepared, never a disappointment. The wait staff is attentive without being pushy, and your drink will never be empty. Personally, I could happily live on their crab rangoon chop sticks (a not quite traditional preparation but oh so delicious) and the tuna and avocado sumiso, a combination of two of my favorite flavors. It's always fresh and has such a bright flavor. The tuna tataki salad is another wonderful choice, with the garlic soy dressing a wonderful complement to the greens and the pepper crusted tuna.

Fantastic find in Barrington. This restaurant delivers A+ on everything you'd want in a great restaurant! The menu is diverse (customize & flexible to our unique children requests) & priced right for even a family budget....the portions are generous and each entree is very unique - not your typical chinese restaurant! The service is friendly, professional and attentive... I would highly recommend the Mongolian Beef - tender & tasty! We have visited over 6 times and LOVE this restaurant - you won't be disappointed.
