This place is just like any jimmy johns, except their workers are pompous hipsters who think they are better than you.
I've had 3 bad instances with them in the past year, and the only reason I keep buying from them is because they are literally right next to where I live
Instance
1) Girl working register has an attitude before I even say anything to her. Her tone of voice makes me feel unwelcome and like I am a hassle to her. I try to order and she snaps back at me. I had enough, so I told her she was being a b*tch for no reason, in which the 2 other guys working here come to her defense, saying "YOU SHOULDNT CALL HER A B*TCH"
2) I order my sandwich online, hoping to avoid contact with their terrible staff all together. Sandwich shows up 40 minutes later. Freaky fast? I think not. Dude apologizes, I still tip him as 40 minutes isn't completely unreasonable for most delivery, and I understand things go poorly sometimes. I open my order and its wrong. How can you mess up a single sandwich order that was placed online?
3) I decide I'll call this time. Typical bro answers phone who sounds like he hates his job.
Him: Name?
Me: Dan
Him: What?
Me: Dan.
Him: Dan?
Me: Yes, Dan. Rhymes with Man. Dan the Man.
Him: I cant hear you very well. What was your name?
Me: I'm sorry, it must be my phone. My name is Dan.
Him: Okay, Dan.
Me: Yes.
Him: Address?
Me: XXXX Hampton
Him: Hampton?
Me: Yes.
Him: I'm sorry, I couldn't catch that.
Me: Are you serious? You just repeated exactly back what I said to you. You heard me right the first time, just as you did my name. Thanks for your time but I'll order elsewhere.
I refuse to believe the average sandwich shop worker really is really this retarded or careless. The fact that I have had problems with multiple workers the few times I have purchased sandwiches from them, especially in this economy where most people are working hard to keep their jobs, makes me believe this place is suffering from extremely poor managerial oversight. If you can, avoid this place.
