Overall

I had a reservation and called to get a late check-in which was OK with them. When I arrived they had cancelled me and had no room in busy Austin. I ended up 7 miles away from my event because the town was full. The night attendant said they had the right to do this; it was in the "fine print."

I am 78 was alone in a new city at midnight. They could not care less. The clerk was rude and I was stuck.

Never again with Embassy Suites.
