Babe's Chicken Dinner House

Great service, great food..waiting on the patio is part of the experience..we celebrated my sons ���� birthday,party of 9,we were ushered in after spending some time on the porch,which we didnt mind..it is spacious enough for private conversations.
The waitstaff is wonderful..

Wife and I dined at babe's today(5/30/16) with friends. The atmosphere, food, and service was excellent and deserves a five star rating.

Good first visit, all of the food is hittin!

They're decent. You can still get more at a buffet tho. The wait staff seem to hate their job tho. None of them seemed happy about doing the hokey pokey at all. No enthusiasm and just chit chatted with one another. The corn is the bomb tho, I would be happy even if that's all they gave me.

Babe's is a very laid back country style restaurant. You each pick your main course from a choice of 5 or 6 meat dishes (or catfish, which my wife always orders), and then the salad and vegetables are served family style. The food, as usual, is very good home style cooking. This is the third Babe's I have patronized and I like it's decor the best. I will not need to drive to Dallas or Cedar Hill to get good old fashion home cooked meal.

my family loves their food. when they come in from out of town, this is where they want to eat. they are family friendly and kids love the atmosphere (between the dancing wait staff and train, they have something that will please all kids). they serve in family portions and have great hospitaliy, so you feel like you're eating at home.

Never eat there. It was the worst meal.
