Vaccination
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all of our patients' rabies vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets. To ensure the safety of you, your pet, and our other clients, all dogs must be kept on a leash while in the waiting area and all cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier.
Veterinary Ophthalmology
Hello, my name is Christina Butler and I joined Washtenaw Veterinary Hospital in Spring 2017. I earned my doctor of veterinary medicine degree at Michigan State University, and my undergraduate studies were also at MSU in clinical laboratory sciences. What I enjoy most about veterinary medicine is the opportunity to work together with owners to develop a unique health plan that considers and fulfills the needs of both them and their pets. My other professional interests include internal medicine, neurology, and ophthalmology. When not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and being a proud pet parent to three animals – Rosco the rat terrier, Samoa the guinea pig, and Kiwi the rat. I look forward to meeting and working with all the wonderful patients and clients at WVH!

I really enjoy implementing nutritional health in all the internal medicine I practice. I also have a special interest in senior pet medicine and I think you will find that I always have your pet's best interests in mind. I pride myself and my staff on our dedication to make your pet as happy and healthy as possible during all of your pet's life stages. Personally, I love being the mother of my four children, Corrynn, Carrigan, Cameron and Conrad, spending time with my husband, Chad, fishing, gardening, and spending time at the lake with my family and friends.
